Before and After

Using Photo shop

Before

After
I liked fixing this picture up because it was very dull and needed some color. I used smart sharpen and levels tool to bring more of a dark emotion within the image.

Before

After

In this photo I wanted to brighten and focus on the water bottle. I used smart sharpen and the levels tool give this photo more light and focus which really helped make it look good.

Rule of Thirds

I like this photo because the man focus is the tree and its in an area that seems like snow. It could be photo shopped, but it follows the rule of thirds technique. Also its very white with black so it has a contrast creativity which I like.

Leading Lines

I like this photo`s use of leading lines in nature. It makes the rock look really smooth and the lighting of the day enhances the photo. I chose this because its not something I would see to often. Using this technique helps move your eyes all around the photo, but in a path.

Sick Mustang

Even though this photo doesn't go under my categories, I really like it because its a sick mustang out in a field almost like too perfectly set up. I also like the photographers technique of tilting the camera to give the car a nice look along with turning the tire to show rim another classic technique as well.

Filling the Frame

This photo is my favorite for filling the frame technique. I chose this photo because I like the bright green color of the kiwi. Also its a fill the frame shot and all you can see is the kiwi. The photographer made this photo effective by using the right technique and by using an interesting object such as this bright green kiwi.

Taxi in puddle

In the photo ; Taxi, a town, and a small puddle. In a small, less modern town a taxi strolls down a street and photographer gets just the right shot. It looks like a small town since no one is walking around. It looks like a glum and boring town lacking color and variety. The puddle could mean it just rained and everyone could be inside. Why is a taxi in this small town? What made a photographer turn a camera upside down and take a picture? I like the picture for that exact reason because its very creative and gives a regular picture of a town an interesting new way to look at it.

Snake & Hummingbird

In the photo ; Snake and a hummingbird. The snake in in an attacking position getting level with the hummingbird. The hummingbird is curiously looking back at the snake maybe too close. However it would be intereting to see what happens next like if the hummingbird would fly away fast enough or if the snake would quickly strike and kill it. Why would a hummimgbird fly so close to a predator? How did the photographer get this picture so perfect? I like the color in this photo along with the amazement in nature people so happen to stumble across.

Depressed clown

In the photo ; A clown, train tracks, and a train. A depressed clown lays on the train tracks out in the woods holding an alarm clock. The train looks like an older model and it doesn't seem to be stopping. He maybe holding an alarm clock to show he is out of time representing his near death. Why is he on the tracks in the first place? This picture gives off lots of questions but i like it because of the mystery behind it as well as creativity like holding a clock for symbolism.

Ant in a raindrop

What's in the photo ; Ant inside raindrop and a leaf. A perfect sphere rain drop captured an ant in its center and the ant looks like a rain forest type of ant not your typical black ant. It looks as if he is perfectly still but could be the camera shot and the photographer is using a good camera judging by the zoom optics used. It looks like a really smooth leaf. Its not a rain drop because no water is seen around leaf. How did the photographer take this photo? Did he do it on purpose? Was the drop still or moving on the leaf? They probably took the photo because they enjoy nature. Maybe to show how an ant looks close up and the water is a great effect.

Torched car

In the photo ; Fire fighter, another man, the van on the side of the road, hose, and the hill in the background. The torched car was stripped of everything except the metal from the interior to the rubber wheels. The fire seemed to go up the hill and burned most of the small shrubs leaving black ashes mixed with sand. The people survived seeing how the car is empty no signs of casualties. How did this happen though? I took this picture to show how powerful fire can be even the Fire fighter had to stop and look at the intensity of this aftermath.
